I’ve used ABACUS twice now making subtract with three of their employees. They are have been super friendly, very patient answering all questions and explaining all aspects of the issues at hand. They are very knowledgeable and prompt when scheduling appointments. They communicate with you via text and email until the second they knock on your door. Prices are reasonable and they give you an estimate up front before any work is done. I really love and appreciate the no fee consult as well. Great company and I highly recommend.

When I tried to save money with a cheaper electric company the photos below is what I got stuck with! Electrician they sent out to give me an estimate on the scope of work needed to correct what damages were now on top of the original work I need done, the electrician they sent out to do the estimate was on time and he called when he arrived he was very knowledgeable professional courteous and respectful and gave me hope that I wouldnt have a trauma experience as I did with the previous electrician because their company is licensed answered and back by the better Business bureau ensuring that my satisfaction will be guaranteed I just wish I would have used their company first so I didnt end up having to redo it ! But the technician made me feel relaxed and confident that they will be able to get me back to having my house habitable without fire and safety hazards

Highly recommend!Dealing with electrical issues isnt for the weak 😄, you need a knowledgeable, caring professional and Cole was just that. My initial contact with Abacus went smoothly. I got a same day appointment and Cole arrived on time and explained my options in replacing my panel. The work was completed to my satisfaction. However, their was a problem with the Center Point power line that affected power to my home. Although Center Point promised to fix the issue it would take some time to do so. This problem caused Cole to be unable to label the panel. Cole was very sympathetic and offered to bring me a generator since we had no idea how long it would take them to fix the issue on their end. Finally I got power around 1 a.m. Cole and his assistant arrived as scheduled the next day to complete the project.I was very impressed with the level of customer service and empathy Cole and the assistant showed me. I will definitely use Abacus again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I want to commend Abacus Electrical, they sent Ken (Kenneth) tech to my home within 24 hrs. He was so very professional, thoroughly, carefully accessing electrical outlets that needed replacement. Many of them were badly burned out, THANK YOU!! 5⭐, Totally recommend,👍👍👍👍👍👏

We totally liked and appreciated the service call today from Abacus Plumbing technician, Zackary Butler. He was knowledgeable, courteous, intelligent, honest, and likable. He communicated and explained many items and situations very well. We accepted his recommendations and were happy to pay for his services. He made us appreciate our V.I.P. Called Abacus to diagnose a light not turning on. The technician was on time, great communication and was able to figure out the issue quickly. He took time to make sure the wiring that was causing the issue was not only fixed but make sure the other connections were secure to prevent possible future problems.Super knowledgable and friendly. Our main power line was nicked and caught on fire. Jorge and his team worked around the clock to replace the entire main electric line to our house. ...UNDERGROUND (due to pool) literally the day before Christmas!!!! The trench was 150 feet long and 2 feet deep. They submitted all the permits and had Centerpoint turn it back on Dec 24th. A miracle.Throughout the madness they helped connect a generator, switched out gas cans, showed up on time, and communicated on all the progress.1st class service!!!!

Abacus installed a new electrical panel at my home. The scheduler worked diligently to ensure that I received a same day appointment. The electricians arrived, quickly identified the problem, and then scheduled a next-day appointment to install the new panel. My electrician, Cole, was very professional and enjoyable to work with. Although the cost of the new panel was expensive, I needed the work performed immediately, so I did not have an opportunity to compare prices; therefore, I cannot speak to Abacus costs compared to competitors. Overall, the service and workmanship were excellent.

My husband and I are new to the Montgomery area. A few days ago we had the experience of an overflowing toilet. I panicked, Googled plumbers , and was fortunate enough to fine one that came quickly, was efficient and reasonable priced. The young men that came out were professional, polite and explained exactly what they were doing. I would not hesitate to call Abacus again.

Isaac Garza came out very early morning as scheduled, throughly explained the issue and what was needed to solve it. Very professional, polite and willingness to help and rechecked that all drains were running smoothly after job was performed. 100% recommended and the pricing was even better!

We were extremely pleased with Abacus from our first call to the finished project. They provided an in-depth estimate of the scope of work with various options. Abacus installed our hvac in our home and we have a maintenance contract. We have had no issues with the unit and every tech that has come out has been super knowledgeable and friendly. We appreciate their professionalism and plan to keep the relationship for years to come.

Extremely knowledgeable and thorough and took the time to explain the what, why, and repair options regarding my plumbing issue. I saw the pride and ownership he took in his work. He made sure that he provided me with all the resources to help me make an informed decision to get the job completed.

We had a main water line separation from our water softener line and I contacted Abacus. I was able to have a technician come out on the same day and he was able to repair it within a little more than 1 hour. We were very pleased with his work.

We have used Abacus 3 times for different issues with electric and plumbing, and I have been so happy with the service every time. They have great customer service. All their technicians/plumbers have been kind, patient, thorough with their explanation of what is going on and their plan, answers all of our questions, skilled/knowledgeable/ competent in their work. All our issues are fixed same day, which is so convenient. I will continue to use Abacus for any electrical/plumbing issue we have.

Eric the technician was very professional. He was very knowledgeable of the electrical needs both inside the house and out.. He ma great recommendations repairs needed. His installation of the units both inside and outside were done flawlessly.

Anselmo was great to work with. He was very polite and professional, and kept me up-to-date on each step he was performing. The only thing I would’ve liked better is if the company gave a more detailed invoice to see exactly how they came up with the cost of the service, but that being said, I would still use them again.

I have been with Abacus for several years for my heating, plumbing , a/c and electrical. Their people are highly qualified in their field They send picture identification ahead of the appointment so you know who to expect . They do inspections each year at no charge to me. My original A/C system leaked and they redirected both A/C drainage to the exterior painting the pipes , an amazing beautiful job . They even have a gentleman who came after to fix the damaged ceiling . His work was meticulous . I feel so confident that everything is being maintained for me . Abacus plumbing was helpful. They responded quickly and provided a clear quote. Their prices were almost double the price we ended up spending with another contractor and they were unwilling to negotiate the prices. I would call them in an emergency but only if you’re willing to pay significantly higher prices.

Dustin St. Clair came out to our home for a water heater leak. Arrived promptly and wore shoe covers as to not track anything in. Very knowledgeable. Gave me several options and reviewed what was necessary for the job. Great demeanor and even better estimate. The entire estimate only took around 10-15 minutes while he looked over everything. Would 100% recommend although the project is a little more expensive than some other quotes i received

Jason did a great job fixing my shower today. I had an emergency plumbing issue and I needed to call someone so I called Abacus. They were extremely professional. The quote was quick and detailed. They did such a good job that I called them back for another problem. Great company and great professionals!

Tony Carillo is an amazing plumbing tech. Although we ended up not needing any major repair, Tony was super helpful with helping us diagnosing our plumbing issue and how to keep our plumbing in good shape. He was very honest about what we needed and what we didnt need which we very appreciated. Abacus just gained a new loyal customer, will turn to them for future plumbing needs.

Austin was great. He was nearby so volunteered to come early, which worked out well. He was respectful of our home and checked the pipe requested. I had gone into the appointment thinking more work would be required, but he told me it was not. I really appreciate his honesty.

My problem was tree roots blocking my sewer line. I had three respected companies, including Abacus, give me an estimate. Each company used a scope to identify and locate the tree root problem, but Abacus was the only company that managed to push through the tree roots to check the pipe beyond. Abacus was able to give me three options and I chose the middle priced option. The other companies prices were much higher, I suspect to cover possible difficulties beyond the roots.Abacus dug a trench, replaced the the sewer line as agreed, and re-routed it away from a tree while maintaining the required gradient. They added an additional inspection port in case of future problems, used thicker piping, and simplified the piping near the house. There were no price increases.Communication with Brett was very good. While Abacus did not undertake to re-landscape the yard, they did a good job of leaving minimal signs of where the trench had been dug. I will use Abacus again.

We received excellent customer service from the reception department and our plumber Daniel did an amazing job of explaining everything. He was very professional and installed a new food disposal and air switch for us. It was our first time using Abacus and we will use them again for any future plumbing, air conditioning, or electrical needs. We highly recommend them.

ABACUS TO THE RESCUE AGAIN! My technician ChrisCastro and his “A TEAM” Gary and Thomas did a great job in replacing and fixing leaky pipes and more. Not only were they professional but they went above and beyond to help me, and were knowledgeable, KIND, and empathetic. Chris explained everything they had to do and showed me everything they worked on and how to open and close the valves if I ever need to shut the water off. Great job guys! Amazingly fast service! My complete water heater replacement was done in less 24 hours from the time I called for an estimate until the job was completed. I’ve never experienced such fast service from a plumbing company and the job was done to my satisfaction.

The Abacus tech, Jair, was very thorough in his explanation of why we needed a new replacement water line rather than a local repair. Because of its high cost, it was quite a struggle for us to make the right decision. Finally Abacus lowered their price to an agreeable level and we chose to replace the water line. From the start when I made the appt online great experience. It was 12/24 when our water heater went out. But we’d had issues all month. I scheduled online for 12/26. Emails and text communications were great from the start. Julio explained things well. Gave us options, his work was thorough and well done. Abacus is for sure who we’ll call in the future!!

Today was my first service with Abacus. Service was excellent across the board, from the scheduler to the initial contact with plumber Jason Webb through job completion. Jason was punctual and professional.I have had issues with this toilet since installation by a contractor last year. It didnt take long for Jason to locate the problem and fix it quickly.I was not charged for todays service. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and greatly appreciate it. This company is so exemplary and trustworthy. All of the employees from the office to the technicians are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Nicholas graciously added us to his Saturday night schedule as his last stop, and replaced our leaking garbage disposal. He gave us our options and went right to work with a great attitude and was very friendly and respectful, always wearing his boot covers and placing his tools on his mat. I have used them twice and been highly satisfied each time! Both times the techs were nice, professional, respectful (wore shoe coverings before coming in) and very knowledgeable. First time we used them was to get a static test (which a lot of plumbing companies don’t offer) due to our water bill being super high and the city of Baytown told me my bill was correct and I had a leak. I had abacus come out and they found no leak! Took the results and write up from the tech that came out and the City ended up fixing my bill and getting me a new water meter so yay! Send time we had a leak that we had no idea where it was coming from. We had an abacus come out to check the plumbing because the leak was near a pipe but he came and found nothing and said it might be from the roof and they had a roof agent! I didn’t know they had roof services but was very happy they did. The roof tech came out and sure enough the leak was coming through a broken seal of a vent in our roof. Came a few days later and replaced the vent and surrounding roof shingles and fixed it. Very happy with their services and will continue to use them in the future!

As a member of the preferred service plan, I called at 8AM and a technician was on site by 11 the same day. And rather than just resetting my water heater vent he offered a purification system for all hot water in my house. Admittedly a larger sale but he demonstrated the benefits and performed a quick installation. Certainly more than I expected from a service call.

I needed a slab inspection for what I deemed as a homeowner was a suspected leak. When Mr. Uli Morales arrived, he was able to evaluate my concern to reveal that no leak was occurring. He was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable

I am so impressed with Abacus plumbing. Bob and Isaac showed up promptly and timely as promised. They worked very efficiently, and were extremely informative. I had an issue that actually was due to the city connection in my backyard, and was actually the citys responsibility to fix. They emailed me a video of the inside of the pipes to have evidence to give the City, and prove that it is their responsibility. They also gave me step by step instructions necessary to facilitate calling the City to get the broken City pipe repaired. I highly recommend Abacus plumbing.

Was able to get an appointment within 24 hours of calling. They notified me when they would arrive and provided a photo and information on who would provide service. They had the parts I needed and were able to complete the job in full in one day. We needed a new garbage disposal and faucet for kitchen sink (both were leaking). No more leaks to clean up! Thanks!

Schedulers and dispatch were professional and courteous but didn’t seem to record my requested appointment window correctly. I had to rearrange my plans to meet Julio. I still give five stars for Julio’s exceptional service.

My recent experience with Abacus for plumbing work at my house was outstanding. I was able to easily schedule same-day service. The plumber was courteous, conscientious, highly skilled, and professional in every way. He discussed everything that he proposed to do, and the different options, before decisions were made. His work was also extremely neat and he left everything very clean afterwards.

I called for an assessment and Luis arrived just over an hour after I called. The app they use allowed me to track his arrival in real-time. He replaced the GFCI outlet that went bad. My only complaint is that I was told by the admin when I called that the cost of the repair would be discussed after the technician did the assessment, but I was not provided an estimate before the repair was completed. However, they offer military discounts which reduced the total service call by $50. Luis was very nice and professional and even made sure our holiday lights were working again.

My Guerrero was pleasant and very knowledgeable. He quickly determined the problem with our electrical circuit and provided a reasonable price for the repair. Once completed, he cleaned up all materials and departed. I highly recommend this electrician! Efficient, reasonable, knowledgeable.

This was my fourth use of Abacus for my plumbing needs. Their service and their technicians are the gold standard. Each of the 4 service calls was for a different problem. They have been well trained not only is addressing the plumbing problem but each time they have completed the call and left, they have left the area of my home where they worked looking better than when they first arrived. Not only did everything work as it was supposed to. It made we wonder if they had even been here.

Excellent repair/replacement experience with Jonathan and, especially, Phillip Hughes (primary rep) of Abacus! Faced with the need of replacing all the emergency stop valves under sinks and toilets, an unexpected and serious pipe event occurred in the middle of his inspection, and Phillip handled it and resolved it quickly and expertly, and to our satisfaction. Mason was very nice and helpful. My drain was clogged for about a week. We tried it all. He explained why it happened and he even gave us advice on how to possibly prevent it. I’m sure it will happen again and I will reach out to them again! He got three clogs out and I can use my kitchen sink again. Fast service, friendly and efficient!

Cole Barndollar is an exceptional young man who is highly intelligent, qualified, and trustworthy. He came to fix a dryer issue at me and my family’s home well beyond business hours and provided quality service. He identified the problem within 5 minutes, gave me a solution to the problem, and offered expert advice on which direction to go. I felt safe and assured knowing he took a look at the electrical box and fixed necessary errors that were overlooked by others. I did very little shopping around for pricing, in fact, I chose Abacus because of a recommendation of one of my neighbors, so I do not know how competitive their pricing is, but I can tell you for what it cost me it was well worth every penny. Everyone I dealt with at Abacus, from the person who set up my appointment, to the on site apprentice, were well mannered and very respectful. I highly recommend this company.

ABACUS Plumbing-AC-Electrical is a wonderful company. My experience was first class starting with the dispatch agent that took my information and booked my service request, the scheduling, appointment confirmation, and prompt on time arrival of my technician Phillip was equally impressive. I had multiple issues with faucets which Phillip diagnosed, made helpful recommendations, presented me with several options, answered every question and addressed my multiple concerns, then provided me a very reasonable estimate. Phillip and I discussed how to proceed and we set up the replacement of 3 faucets and to rebuild a fourth faucet for the next morning. Phillip called me when he was on the way, arrived, and got right to work. Phillip is polite, professional, and extremely knowledgeable, I would know, I worked in the plumbing industry for 28 years before I retired and passed the baton to the younger generation. My next project is electrical and I will be calling ABACUS to replace 3 ceiling fans. All around from start to finish 5 stars.

Andres Garcia handled my plumbing issue with ease and quickly knew how much it would cost and how long.He handled everything and left the area clearer than when he got there. Honestly the best plumber I’ve ever had!

The techs did well, but unbeknownst to me. They dont do splitters that they dont install. So I wasted my time. I installed a $16000 a/c unit a $6000 electrical panel and a $2000 water heater. I didnt think was beyond their expertise. They should have told me upfront. I am canceling my VIP membership.

We are beyond happy with the service we got from Abacus. We discovered a gas leak on a Thursday afternoon. Centerpoint came out and shut off the gas. We called Abacus after that for an estimate to replace our gas line between the meter and the house. We got a quote and they were out the next morning (Friday). By early afternoon they were finished and - much to our disbelief, were able to get an inspector out and the crew returned to fill in the trench and put our yard back together. Centerpoint returned to get the meter installed and the gas back on by 6pm the same day. I cant thank Daniel, James and James son for the outstanding work and commitment to getting the job done that day. Almost any other company would have left after the 1st half of the job and had us reschedule after the inspection, leaving us with no hot water over the weekend. Id leave 10 stars if I could. Our water softener system had several issues. The programing of the regen times was us out of sequence, due to power surges. Tony reset the system and added an additional filter to ensure extra filtering of the water coming from our well.I learned if you have power blips at your home, you need to be vigliant about what the system tank readout indicates. I cant express how thankful I am for Tony and the exceptonal job he did on our system and explaining why we were having problems. Robert Zepeda is a neat guy. He is smart, communicates extremely well and does good work and cleans up afterwards, so much so that it is hard to tell he was even there. The evidence that he was there lies in the new water heaters.Roman Geldiyev is also a good guy who is also smart and also communicates well. He worked on the roof (bless his heart) to apply material to the vent lines to prevent leakage.Abacus is to be commended for hiring gentlemen of such skills. One other point: one of my two hot water heaters were leaking, and when I contacted Abacus they responded immediately. Both water heaters were replaced that day. Super response and super job.

I had the pleasure of being serviced by Jerrardo Garcia. He was very prompt and very communicative. He helped diagnose and solve my issue with my furnace. Even after the initial fix Jerrardo came back to ensure all issues were fully resolved. I would definitely recommend Abacus and Jerrardos services.

Zach did a very thorough job identifying our major multi-faucet plumbing problem. Water heater had to be replaced. Abacus plumbing was very quick to respond and was great about communicating every step of the process from initial assessment to final installation. Chris Tieken was the plumber sent to perform the task. He was very professional, patient, and informative.

Technican Ronnie with Abacus did an electrical inspection on our home. He was very polite, cordial, and explained in detail everything he would do in checking our circuitry and devices. He conducted the inspection and made several suggestions and offered some plans to handle the issues in our house. I had a blocked drain line on Christmas Eve. Abacus was able to send someone out within 90 minutes and even applied one of their specials to the bill. I received incredible communication from them, and the plumber (Angel) explained exactly what the issue was and what he did to fix it. Could not be happier with the service and the work done.

Called Abacas due to my kitchen sink backing up into my washer. They quickly dispatched Mr. Angel Hernandez to me and man he was amazing. Only took him 30 minutes to located and fix the problem. The guy who came to check the electrical was a bit standoff st first, but he came inside. I told/showed him what I needed done. He accessed things and told me since the house is old and has the original wiring that it needed to be updated. That we should keep and eye out for flicking lights, and the plugs. That I should put a recess light in my back bedroom since a light bulb had broken off in there at one time and he had tried his best trying to fix it, and he didnt want to break anything further. Not sure what all he was talking about.He changed several light bulbs out and we discuss things about his future plans for himself and his family and he left.

We had a leak in our home’s water line and we came home after work to find that the water company had shut our water off! We called Abacus and our technician Dustin arrived the same evening. During a terrible thunderstorm, Dustin looked at the problem and gave us estimates for the two scenarios he could see. He was back at exactly the time he said he would be to make the repairs. Throughout the entire process, Dustin was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. It was a great experience to fix a bad situation!

Yes the installers did a good job as everything seemed to work before they left. They were respectful of my property and knew what they were doing. Yes I recommend them. It was a little late for this old man when they finished. The surprising thing is they did not take hardly any breaks.

Daniel, the electrical technician, performed the start-up of my new standby generator. He walked me through the entire startup process with clear explanations and demonstrations. Daniel was very knowledgeable and did a thorough examination and setup of the generator. At the conclusion of the work and after everything was buttoned up, he described their annual maintenance plan but did not pressure me to buy it. In summary, Daniel did an outstanding job so I am confident that the generator will do its job if the grid power goes down.

Had an issue with heat of HVAC system that Abacus installed 6 mos ago. All worked very well until heat appeared to stall. I appreciated the calls keeping me abreast of my appointment status. My tech was Eddie Matus Jr., who I remember from previous installation. Eddie was personable, courteous, professional - really customer focused. He gave me an overview of the issue & how the problem occurred & also shared pics. The good thing is that he got the system back up & running for now until the part arrives to finalize the repair. Anselmo was the Tech that came out to look at a possible pipe clog in the water drain to our washer…Anselmo was very courteous, friendly and professional…. He attempted to clear the clog by snaking the drain pipe behind the washer but it wasn’t happening, so Anselmo needed a longer snake and had to go on the roof and try through the vent pipe.. I’ve never heard of doing this but he’s the professional, he got all his gear and went up..It didn’t take but maybe 10 minutes of snaking and the clog was clear, i went into the garage, put the hot water hose into the drain and turned to water on full blast, i pushed the hose as far as i could, the clog was cleaned out, water was running through fine now.. Very happy with Anselmo, he knew his stuff and this is why we always choose Abacus for our plumbing issues….Anselmo is a definite asset to Abacus….

Ronnie Boen arrived at my house late on a Saturday night in very cold weather after I called Abacus because my power had gone out. He coordinated with Centerpoint and made sure that my heater worked until he returned to solve my problem. When he returned He, again, coordinated with Centerpoint and a crew sent by Abacus to replace the power line to my house. They worked non-stop from about 7:00 am to 4:00 pm in freezing weather to restore full electrical power to my house. I have used Abacus for problems in the past and have always been very happy with their ability arrive quickly and do a great job. Highly recommended.

They came when they said the would. Presented me with plumbing options. I need line replaced from kitchen clean out to main sewer line but not in my current budget. So jet blasting the line (guaranteed for a year but should last longer) will buy me time to save for the repairs. Definitely happy with Abacus.

Abacus earned our business for an AC unit replacement 100% because of Matt Gray, the technician that inspected our unit and provided the estimate for our replacement. Matt took the time to explain the various issues I had with my 2008 unit and how a new unit would correct those issues. Most important, he took the time to look at the second AC unit and the hot water heater and pointed out significant issues with them just to make sure I was aware. Wow!!

Nicolas Johnson was the technician that provided service for me and he was excellent! Nicolas listened to my concerns, spoke with his manager to see if they could satisfy those concerns. Not only did he satisfy those concerns, he went above and beyond! Nicolas was very thorough, explained the process and ensured we were happy with the service. Abacus always a good and trusted partner. I’ve exclusively used their AC and plumbing services now for about a year. I have buyers remorse having gone with a competitor for a water softener. I should have gone with Abacus and I kick myself ever single day I walk by it in my garage. Great service from great technicians. Can’t say a bad thing about them. My go to group for all things plumbing and AC related (should be water softener too but I was an idiot and when with another brand).

Giving a 5 star review was hard for me, because when I say we had problems, I mean we had BIG problems. The job started out great and went downhill fast. We started with an electrical panel and breaker box replaced, a gas connect for a generator and a soft start on our AC. The box did get some red tags from the city, which they fixed. The AC they couldn’t get power to, then the AC tech would leave and say it’s electrical, a electrical tech would come and say it’s hvac, this went back and forth until I lost it with no AC for a couple nights. Finally they sent out Luis Guerrero an electrical tech and we felt heard. He called his boss Joel and he came out and stayed until the AC tech showed up. I think we had about 9 different techs out here and they would say not my department and back and fourth. Luis got them all together and literally looked at everything. They did tare up our AC (which was old) but working fine before we started this project and the reason for the 5 stars is we would give everyone of those stats to Luis but in the long run, Abacus made it right and replaced our whole AC unit. So the job did get done and everything works great but getting the departments to coordinate better together would be helpful to say the least. Would I use them again? For electrical yes if they can send Luis out. If not probably not.

Ive had several companies including the company that was contracted to install the AC system during our build. None could figure out why my system wouldnt turn on the heater. All they could do is quote thousands to play a guessing game.It took Corey less than a minute to realize that it was a sensor that was causing the problem. Im really glad that there are people who actually do the job they are expected to do and not try to upsell you on unnecessary things.

I had a leaky pipe in my master bathroom ceiling. I made an appointment with Abacus and they were able to come out the next day. Sam with Abacus was very helpful and professional. He was able to fix my leak with no problem.
