BlueFrog plumbing, via Jason & Josh, did a fantastic job! They carefully evaluated the issues, explained the situation and options, and then replaced my water heater. They showed me each problem I had, including the prior condition of the old piping, and then carefully took their time to input the new product perfectly with safety matters explained well. Highly recommend them!

I found my experience with Bluefrog to be totally positive. I have lived with a water softener since 1989 so I knew what I wanted and I just needed to make sure they could provide me what I needed. They came to my home, were absolutely professional and friendly. When I asked something they couldn’t answer they scheduled a follow up appointment and got a technical expert regarding water to answer my questions. They made me feel as though they appreciated the chance to learn something new also. There was no sales pressure, they never tried to sell me a higher level of equipment than what I needed. I appreciate the fact of how I feel they are trustworthy and caring. At the end of installation. I also felt everyone I had dealt with was happy to go the extra mile for me. How rare!

Kris, Jason, and the Blue Frog team are great to work with! We had Blue Frog replace cast iron drain/sewer pipes. Neither my wife nor I had any experience with plumbing and the guys at Blue Frog patiently walked us through the process of diagnosing our needs and explaining how the project would unfold. My main water line coming into the house blew underground and flooded my entire yard before I even realized what was happening.Id used bluefrog previously for a simple drain cleaning and they were the only plumbers I had saved so I gave them a call at about 7:30pm. They answered right away and were sympathetic.Alton showed up about 30 minutes later, as promised. He was super friendly and professional. Shut off the water, inspected the situation, then worked up 3 quotes. Very nice to be given a couple options when dealing with something this major.He worked hard and fast and had the situation fixed in a couple hours. (Figured itd be longer with just one guy!) I cold called blueFrog Plumbing with a gas leak issue after finding them on google maps. Their tech arrived and fixed the leaking pipe, tested the line, and applied for the city permit and inspection with the city for the gas meter reinstall. The permit was issued by the city within an hour. Their pricing was fair and transparent, and well worth the clean quality of the work. Andrew, the tech who performed the repair, was detail focused and skilled, as well as an awesome guy to that offered helpful advice. I would recommend blueFrog Plumbing and will be relying on their services for any and all future repairs.

Blue Frog has earned my business going forward. Not for the quality work they did (though theyve done great work for us multiple times in the past), but because of the level of customer service they demonstrated when things didnt go well. Long story, short, there was a plumbing issue that was accidentally misdiagnosed which led to my wife and Is purchase of some new bathroom hardware. Because of the misdiagnosis, this expensive hardware was not ultimately needed as it was not the cause of the issue. As a result, I called to discuss the situation and which was met with a near immediate decision to refund us the service fees BF had charged and a commitment to fixing the issue and making things right. My wife and I are very busy with work and family items, so it was a breath of fresh air to not have to spend countless hours begging and pleading to have the situation resolved. They were professional, polite and very helpful. Wed absolutely recommend others use them and will call them with our next plumbing issue if/when it arises.

Blue Frog is a locally owned company great for doing plumbing work. They were quick to respond to my quote request and had Alton the technician out the next morning to assess my needs and deliver if we came to an agreement on the work and cost. Alton was professional from beginning to end. Kris the owner is very involved and might I add a mechanical engineer by trade with many years of experience in the oil gas business. The team was able to quote me the following business day and install the necessary needs for my natural Gas supplied generator. Alton checked to ensure the codes were met and no funny business was going on. Great company backed with great people would definitely give them my business in the future. They were able to handle my request and install within 24 hours when other companies didn’t even give me a call back. Customer service is key and they nailed it.

This was the absolute best experience we’ve ever had when in need of plumbing services. The plumber Blue Frog sent to us (Brad) was skilled, knowledgeable, patient, and the perfect combination of personable and professional. My house, which was built in the early 60s, had an old corroded natural gas line running from my house, across the yard, to the meter. The line, which was galvanized steel and original to the house, started leaking and needed to be replaced. I got three quotes on the job and bluefrog was by far the cheapest but also with the longest warranty. Alton and his crew did a fantastic job replacing my gas line and coordinating with the city inspector. Ill definitely be using bluefrog again in the future.

This time Mario Contreas was sent to fix my plumbing problem with my commode. Mario is so polite, courteous, and you can tell he knows plumbing very well. This review should have been written months ago. I was getting ready to write another review for a clogged pipe and discovered that I never posted this review. Anyway this is the review for my outside pipe. Luckily I was able to get service the same day that I called. Mr. Mario Contreras was nice, very thorough and efficient. He fixed my leaking pipe and explained to me why he needed to change some parts of my existing pipe that were made to be inside and not outside. He even put insulation back on the pipe to protect it from the cold which was very nice. Mario did a very professional job . I can tell that he takes pride in his work. I will continue to use Bluefrog Plumbing in the future.

Alton was the best man for the job, he showed up on time and went out of his way to assist us in replacing our broken water heater in the same day. Great company! Wonderful secretary/welcoming receptionist. She answered all my questions and phone calls quickly. I really like that you are able to track your technician so you can map out the timeline with busy schedules. Our technician we had was Alton. The best plumber we have seen since we have lived in this old home for 6 years. This house was built in the 60s and we have had our fair share in plumbers. Alton diagnosed our problem and came out quickly once the filter parts were in. He stayed until he was finished. Which I appreciate very much. Most technicians would have rescheduled. Was able to schedule a next day appt as a new customer, received a text prior to appt confirming the arrival time, then closer to arrival an actual specific ETA with tracking ability. My tech Alton was courteous and professional, spending over an hour with me to try and identify and replicate the issue I was having. Unfortunately it is the classic mechanic example where it doesnt occur when you are trying to fix it, so he was unable to diagnose the issue for me. I was still fully expecting some $125 service fee for his time because I understand businesses need to make money, but he advised no charge as he couldnt identify the problem due to current proper drainage. A company who is willing to be that honest and ethical in todays climate will get nothing but references and applause from me. I did purchase one of their products to help address my issue, but it wasnt a hard sell from Alton, he just advised it may help with the issue. Blue frog will be my first call should I ever need additional plumbing support based on this experience.

Bluefrog plumbing did an excellent job replacing a rusted kitchen faucet with obstructed access under the sink. Alton quickly created a solution and removed the faucet from the topside and quickly replaced with a new faucet. He also notified me of a water supply valve that will need to be changed in the future. Alton and bluefrog always do a great job and I appreciate their service.

I highly recommend this company. Once I set up an appointment, they will set up an online website portal where I can access invoice/quotes, payments, and appointments. I can even track when the plummer tech arrives at my home, which I thought was a useful feature to have. I had Mario Contreras as my tech. He was beyond amazing, knowledgeable, and helpful. He addressed all of my questions and thoroughly explained the process. I needed help for a pipe leakage (from the main valve area) and sink drain issue. He was able to tell me how much the quote was at that moment. Even though I asked for his professional opinions, he gave me options. This was essential to me because it meant that I wasnt under any pressure to make a decision that they wanted me to choose. In the end I decided my pipes repaired and change the location of my main water valve from inside of my house to outside which required more of his time but Mario was able to finish all on the same day of the consultation. Mario mentioned to me that the company is giving me warranty, services, and small discount for the pricing over $600, which I thought was worth it. Overall, amazing company. They are my number one plummer person to call for any issues from now on.

I was planning to have a whole house water softener installed. I also explained to them that this is not an immediate project but I want to know how much it would cost me if I decide to push through with it in the future. My call was answered right away by their receptionist in a welcoming and accommodating friendly voice- answered my questions. The technician- Mario arrived early but prior to arrival, I was provided with his ETA which put me at ease. Mario was very professional, friendly and well experienced with the job at hand. He explained thoroughly and answered all my questions. Despite the slight drizzle, he took his time to finish the job well. He came out to our house to do an annual flush of our water heater & quickly diagnosed that the heater was packed full of sediment/scale and was not draining properly. After further assessing the situation & evaluating repair options, Michael replaced the boiler valve with a full port ball valve which then enabled him to adequately flush the heater - with full water pressure coming out of the drainage hose. Alton from Blue Frog arrived early and reset my toilet quickly. He cleaned up and was professional. It was $370 to reset the toilet which may be the going rate but Ill shop around in the future to make sure Im not over paying.

We had an extremely high water bill the last 2 months, and assumed it was either the fire hydrant in front of our water meter that had been leaking, or there was a leak we were not seeing. I contacted Blue Frog as the rating and reviews were very high.Jill was very polite, friendly, and efficient...she emailed and texted me information to confirm appt to have someone come out to take a look and did not charge a fee!Mario came and inspected our meter, discussed possible culprits, and then made me aware that it was definitely our exterior water pipe that most likely was damaged. He provided 2 quotes in case he had to excavate a section of sidewalk, where the meter line ran to our house. He then mentioned that I should contact the HOA, in case there were any restrictions or preferred plumbers since we were in a gated community. Jill contacted me the morning that Mario was going to come to repair to inform me he was sick, but she wanted to reschedule me asap the next day, even if it would be with another plumber.CJ ended up doing our repair and he showed me the cracked part of pipe going into the meter. I had a serious, not just a typical problem in two bathrooms. If you flushed the upstairs toilet, the master bath toilet overflowed. I knew that it was going to take technology to get this solved.When I began looking on the internet, I found a site called Local Plumbing. I started there by calling them. Everything I read made me feel they had the right equipment and technical knowledge to solve this problem, and they did.I spoke to a lady named Jill, and explained what I needed. She set ip an appt. With this company and had them out same day? The Journeyman Plumber, Alton Campbell, spent time evaluating the problem, gave me an estimate of what he would need to do using snakes (mechanical ones), cameras and other equipment to open the line and trace the run of the piping, then hopefully we could see the blockage and why it was happening. It took several hours, but he finally got a good picture and learned that someone had installed a 90 degree turn in the line that was causing the back-flow. The 90 was at about our master bedroom door. He then gave me an estimate on what it would take to repla e it with a sweeping 90 that would allow sewage to flow. We had had a similar pipe replacement problem in our front hallway but it was due to a pipe that was blocked with a hard cement-type product. Our house is steel and concrete so that means removing flooring, jackhammering down 3 ft., cutting out and replacing pipe and putting the whole thing back together again. Not easy or cheap. We are unstopped for now, but limited as to bathroom use. We will have to start this process soon.So if you have a plumbing problem that is difficult to solve, call Alton at Blue Frog Plumbing & Drain West Houston, they are great! CJ and his helper were fantastic to work with. Weve been having an issue with our washing machine not draining properly (the water was coming back up the drain line and spilling onto the floor).. the problem has been happening for nearly a Year, and weve had two other plumbers from other companies come out to try to fix the issue, but it never got fixed. Today CJ was able to locate the stoppage in my drain line (where the other companies hadnt attempted), and he got it cleared out! Also, he let us know that the line was pretty greasy and gave us some tips on how to keep that from building up again. Very helpful and personable. Thanks BlueFrog for getting this taken care of so my wife doesnt have to run to the washer every time it starts to drain.Update 08/30/24: This time Alton came out and yet again, another excellent service from BlueFrog. Alton Campbell was the technician assigned to find the issue with two Toto toilets in my house. He was on time (Sunday 8:30 AM) and very professional. After first analysis, he quickly diagnosed the issue and showed me what is the problem (seal gasket wore out in both toilets). Alton indicated if he can not find the part locally, he has to order it. Monday afternoon I received a call that he had found the part in Rosenberg, Texas (we live in Bellaire Texas about 30 miles from Rosenberg, Texas) and he will be able to fix both toilets between 5:00 - 6:00 PM on Monday. He showed up as he had promised and fixed both toilets. This showed me his dedication to take care of his customer quickly. Thank you Alton for job well done!

I had Bluefrog install 2 gas water heaters at my home today. They showed up on time but ran into a small hiccup in the beginning by having brought incorrectly sized equipment for one of the spaces. Nevertheless, they worked quickly to get the issue resolved, picked up the correct one within an hour, and still got the work done quickly and professionally. Additionally, I had them work on a couple other smaller issues related to shower cartridge problems, as well as installing a new valve on the gas line for my fireplace. Everythings good to go now! This was the 1st time Ive used their services, and I wont hesitate to call them again in the future. Recommended.

I called bluefrog late Saturday evening regarding a very smelly toilet and got an appointment Monday morning! Chris was the technician who worked with us and he was on time, friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable!Chris took the time to check our toilet, tank, under-sink pipes, and also the shower as well, and let us know the reason for the smell.
