Ive called on jacob three times now, first to repair a toilet another plumber messed up, then for a leak in our kitchen sink, and finally to fix our bathroom pedestal sink that came loose from the wall due to weight and started leaking. jacob arrived promptly and spent no more than 10 minutes inspecting the sink in the bathroom, asking if we wanted to replace it or reuse the same one. he explained he wouldnt be responsible if the sink came off the wall again due to it being old and not having any support brackets. we confessed it was our mistake the sink came loose and it had been in place for over 25 years, so we were willing to take the risk. jacob said hed have to return the next day to complete the work, which we were fine with. the only hiccup was jacob didnt mention during that initial visit that it came with a $59 service charge. this was added to our bill the following day without any written breakdown of costs. we had to reach out to him for a detailed list and price of what was done. there were also no discounts for seniors or military personnel. however, i cant fault the quality of his work. over the three times hes been here, the work has been top-notch. a more detailed billing or price explanation would have been appreciated, as jacob is certainly a man of few words. all in all, our plumbing issues in houston have been well taken care of by him.
