Both Dajohn and Robert were courteous, communicative and professional, and made sure that we were happy with their work. The price for the job was upfront and fair. I spoke to Dustin on the phone and praise him the same for his professionalism. Remember that the professionalism and training starts at the top with the management. They installed the water heater, fixed a sink leak, tightened the faucet on the Roman tub, and replaced the fill valve in the master bathroom toilet.Despite a few hiccups due to incorrect parts supplied by the store, Cody efficiently completed the tasks that didnt depend on those parts. He then went to change out the parts and finished the job late into the evening.Overall, I had a very positive experience with Obsta Plumbing. From the initial call to the completion of the job, everything was handled professionally. Great job! I will definitely use their services again and recommend them to my family and friends.

Cody Mims is the best plumber that has ever serviced my home. He is honest, conscientious, and of high integrity. We had received a quote from another plumbing company which gave a false report of the necessary repairs. Upon Codys inspection and honest disclosure it was determined that our pipes were not broken as had been reported. We are so grateful for Codys honesty and excellent customer service.

I have used Obsta plumbing on several occasions. The rebuild of our master bath, a plumbing emergency and to upgrade a kitchen appliance. The team was always professional and courteous but the biggest plus to me was that as they ran into problems they just worked through them. Ther was no problem the couldnt overcome and I never heard that cand be done. Wouldnt hesitate to use them in the future.

Called Obsta (now Mr. Potty) to install a natural gas quick connect for a portable generator. Justin came out to do an inspection and told me what I needed to get (quick disconnect, hose etc...) and then came back in to do the install, test and seal everything. he was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

Happy with my service and repairs. Had to schedule a couple days out in advance, this wasn’t a problem though because my issue was not an emergency problem that had to have immediate attention. They came and assessed my problem, presented three options for repair and I picked the best option that came with a five year warranty. I had to have my main line replaced and was going out of town the next day, very thankful they were able to complete the work same day so it didn’t affect our travel plans. Will use them again and do recommend!

Obsta was very quick responding to my service request. They are fairly priced and thoroughly explain what the service entails before they start. Great experience with Obsta. They were able to see me earlier than scheduled and gave me several options for fixes to my busted pipe from the freeze. I used Obsta Plumbing at both a previous home and previous business for years. Weve been out of Houston for the past three years and just moved back, with some plumbing issues and needs in our new house, so I called Obsta. They were immediately able to identify the causes and provide fixes. Everything is 1000 times better already. I highly recommend them and will always call them first for any plumbing needs!

Prompt, knowledgeable, successful completion of plumbing jobs. Professional. Id give a 5 star if their digging crew had been honest. They dug a trench, shoveled thru irrigation lines, (later fixed when called on about it). The dig crew was called back to repair the 1 ft. high ridge they left over the trench they had dug, but kept trying to tell me it was the plumbers fault... (not so). The dig crew came to fix the landscaping ridge, at plumbers request, 4 days later, but complained to me the whole time, informing me that they werent getting paid for this ridge repair...The plumbing work was great.

October 2023 update: Bought a new gas cooktop to replace our 20 year old one, and called Obsta to do the installation. They arrive on time (actually a bit early) and got right to work. They quickly discovered the existing opening was a bit too small for the new cooktop, but had everything they needed to cut a quarter inch out of the granite countertop and get the job done. Reasonable price, excellent workmanship, great results. .. Previous review: I bought a water softener and a whole house filter with the intention of installing them myself, but had second thoughts about that given potential consequences if I got it wrong. I called Obsta, they came out and gave me an estimate, and pointed out that there was a small leak on the main line to the house which I hadnt noticed. They included that repair, as well as a new shut-off valve, and I gave the OK to get started.They arrived exactly when they said they would, and despite running into a couple of unanticipated problems - at one point they had four guys at our house - they stuck with the original quote. The results were better than I imagined, a very neat job, all the pipes were well insulated and you would never have guessed they dug a 20 foot trench from water supply line to the softener. As they were finishing up I realized Id better start studying the manual so I could set up the program and start using the softener. When I went outside - they had already competed the setup! They had also checked the water hardness level, adjusted the softener to match, advised me on proper salt levels and maintenance requirements.On their way out they all stopped and were looking at the roof - they noticed an AC condensate line dripping which should not happen unless the main condensate line is clogged. They suggested I check that out, which I did, and they were right. I was able to clear the line before any damage was done. Apologies for the long review, but these guys went above and beyond anything I expected, and that is a pretty rare thing.

Dustin and Matthew were quick to respond. Good communication throughout evaluation of problem and job estimates. Easy to work with good quality.

Obsta is very professional and even though the builder gave us a big surprise as to how they did some things that caused some more work, Paul stuck to the original estimate. He even said he would send one of his guys to power wash all the 811 paint off the sidewalk. Greatly appreciated!

10/24Its customer care check up time. I asked Mr. Potty aka Obsta Plumbing to come out and install 3 new faucets in my bathrooms. Cody was the lead plumber with Robert as his helper. They worked efficiently and quickly while keeping me informed of any issues they found. They updated all of my plumbing under the sink as it was over 20 yrs old. Everything looks great. Very professional young men.1/24I signed up for the Customer Care Club with Obsta Plumbing and had my first visit. The team did a thorough exam of my plumbing throughout my house. They found a couple of minor leaks and some shutoff valves that werent working properly. Working as a team the got all issues resolved in no time. They were very courteous and professional. Thank you!1/23I had my water softener replaced after 20 years of service. Obsta Plumbing installed the old one and now a new one. Great service. On time and got the job done in a jiffy. Thank you.

Cant say enough. Until we have water leakage in the house, water damage, and constraints on our daily water needs, we take it for granted. My husband and I were traveling out of the country with no idea that squirrels would chew our pipe through the attic and water dripping up to the ground floor. We were in another part of the world with a 13-hour difference when I called Obsta Plumbing for help.At Obsta Plumbing, the receptionist was very attentive, a good listener, excellent communications skill, and ready to take detailed notes. Within 15 minutes, he arranged for Paul (owner himself) and one more person to visit my home and talk with us over the phone through my mother-in-law’s what’s up, avoiding long-distance calls.During the visit, Paul assessed it, knowing the emergency of having an old person in the house, he immediately provided us the quote, went for material, repaired it, and even visited a second time again to ensure everything was good – and there was no water leakage. He provided a lot of comfort to my mother-in-law through language trouble. Fixed the issue in time and helped out even with the squirrel problem and plumbing fix. Paul and Dorinda are like angels to us. Very respectful, polite, knowledgeable, reasonable, and expert with a lot of empathy.After nearly a month, I am still out of words to express my thanks and gratitude to both Paul and Dorinda. Will never call another plumber again. After having a kitchen sink backup that couldnt be cleared with a 25 drain, I called a reputable name (per Google) to have it unclogged on a Sunday. They worked on it for a few minutes, dirtied up the driveway, and quoted me thousands of dollars to reroute the pipes because it couldnt be unclogged.I then asked around and Obsta Plumbing was highly recommended by some friends of ours. Paul came out the same day, walked me through exactly what he was going to do, and finished what the others couldnt. He and his team were very communicative and helpful throughout the whole process, and got the job done quickly, professionally, and quite frankly with ease. There will always be plumbing problems, but there will not be another plumber I call.

What I thought was a backed up shower drain turned out to be a backed up kitchen sink way down the line with years of grease and food particles. Probably from the previous owner. Santiago and team took the time to troubleshoot, inspect multiple culprits and even brought out the heavy artillery. They inspected with a camera and basically bored out all the filth and grub out from years of abuse. 50 feet of camera inspection (cool tool by the way) and my pipes are brand new and clean. Obsta came highly recommended from numerous people in my neighborhood and now I know why. What I didnt mention was the repeated calls to a locally known plumber for the same lingering issue every 9 -12 months. Not to mention the boat loads of money Ive wasted. Obsta guarantees their work to boot! Im already interested with future projects and upgrades Obsta does and will be getting a call from me to look at further. Great job Obsta! You have another reference. Not only did they add a new customer, most likely signing up for their yearly maintenance plan.

Technician was very professional. He assessed the hot water heater and made his recommendation which I chose a new hot water heater, delivered the new one installed and was finished within 2 hours. The company called me before the tech arrived and explained everything to me so I would know exactly what to expect. They replaced my 21 year old hot water heater and then was on their way. Excellent service. I have previously used Obstama. Hector was very polite, very professional, and has excellent communication skills. He worked on 3 tasks - tankless water heater flush, kitchen faucet, and toilet repair. I was presented with 3 options. Work was all completed in about 5 hours. Hector even vacuumed some dust/insulation that fell when the attic door was shut. I will continue to use Obstama for any future plumbing jobs.

Justin came and listened to our wants and needs for faucet replacement and shower valve repair. As he assessed the state of our 25 year old equipment, he provided options that were practical and at a reasonable price. Even when he installed a defective valve component, he replaced it without extra charge. Also, when he replaced an existing handle and tightened it and it broke, he went and found a working replacement and installed it without charge. And in working in difficult conditions (up behind a pedestal sink) he did good quality work, sweating fittings, and did not damage the dry wall. The work was good quality, was done in a timely manner, politely, and they always communicated about when he was on route to our home. The fixtures look great, and look well installed and function as intended. I would recommend Justin and Obsta Plumbing to my friends. In fact, they were recommended to me by a couple of neighbors/friends.

Twice in the past month, two separate issues, Ive called Obsta Plumbing. Both times, my problems were handled promptly and professionally.They were helpful in talking to me about other plumbing concerns I had and even went further and fixed one.I will also add I liked their online platform.The one thing that I didnt like was their monthly option to receive discounts. Being a senior and on a fixed income monthly cost is not an option for me. It would be better if discounts were offered.

Have used Obsta Plumbing a multitude of times. They always show up when theyre supposed to. Extremely professionaland friendly. Based on several prior experiences I have been recommending Obsta Plumbing for years. Recently we had an issue at our rental property and called Obsta Plumbing. They came out and discovered that our sewer line was damaged and needed to be replaced. We decided to have all of the water pipes replaced since the home was being prepared for a new tenant. Obsta Plumbing replaced the old, galvanized pipes with new PEX-A type pipes, so we dont need to worry about a bust pipe during freezing conditions. Obsta Plumbing finished the work in 5 short days. We were completely blown away by the speed and quality of the work performed on the property. I am happy to say that Obsta Plumbing is like a fine wine, they were great and have only gotten better with age.

They installed a tankless for us early August. We were nervous as the estimate we received was just based on our zip/neighborhood. They were great about answering all our questions prior to choosing them, scheduled us promptly once we decided, and stuck to their quote upon completion. We discovered a leak in the main line from the meter to the house. Justin came out same day to evaluate. Roots had grown into the main line. The team was able to rerun an entire new line from the meter to the house the next day to get our water restored. The Job was completely done in two days! Great value! Very quick and professional! I was referred to Obsta Plumbing by my previous plumber who has retired in recent years. I have been most impressed with the level of professionalism and service I have received from Paul, the other plumbers on my job, and the office staff. Paul spent a lot of time speaking with me before the job about pricing and what needed to be done. I had a Moen kitchen faucet cartridge replaced, the main shut off valve replaced at the side of the house and updated to the newer ball valve, and all 3 hose bibs replaced as well. Paul and his crew even re-wrapped the pipes with insulation prior to leaving although I didn’t ask and we hadn’t discussed. When I discovered the standard faucet covers I had for cold weather no longer fit the new configuration for the hose bibs, Paul returned my call in a timely manner and was able to recommend a new hose bib cover sock I could purchase on Amazon. Although plumbing repairs are generally not the most inexpensive repairs, I found Paul to be fair in the pricing structure and giving any discount possible based on the number of repairs being made and the difficulty level. Highly recommend!! We had a freak lightning strike create a big water leak under the foundation. Paul came out right away and temporarily stopped the leak until we were able to move forward with replacing the pipe. He proposed a way of tunneling under the kitchen to get to the pipe so we would not have to go through the kitchen floor. He and his crew were brilliant! They were always on time, respectful, considerate, and just plain nice! One day there was a big pile of dirt on the driveway from the tunnel, and the next day there was no sign that anything had been done. The crew had put everything back in its place and even hosed off the driveway so it was nice and clean. Of course, you never want a plumbing issue, but if we have any in the future we will not hesitate to call Obsta!

We called Obsta Plumbing for an estimate for a recirculation pump for our tankless water heater, which was installed by another plumber at the end of 2018. Paul Obsta found several code violations with our water heater installation. He and his crew fixed the code violations and installed the pump. They are our new plumbers! Daniel and his team did a great job at assessing my situation and fixing my new leaks that came after some bad piping job I had gotten. I had to fire the previous plumber due to multiple issues. I had a gas leak on my main gas line right before the labor day weekend. The whole main gas line connecting to the meter on the street needed removed and replaced. Obsta coordinated the excavating and then performed the pipe replacement in one day. Throughout the process they gave me regular updates and explained in laymans terms what needed to be done. Special shoutout to Paul from Obsta Plumbing. CenterPoint energy couldnt figure out where to re-install the gas meter so Paul came back out to my house that day and painted the gas lines. Overall, the price was fair and the customer service was above the mark. I would definitely use Obsta in the future for my other plumbing needs.
